MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Engine Height

Could someone with a 1275 sitting on their garage floor, please tell me the measurement from floor to top of rocker cover.

Total height from base of sump to top of rocker cover filler cap(plastic), is 22.75 inches

Total height to from base of sump to rocker cover filler neck, -- without any filler cap -- , is 22.5 inches

Sump from flange to base is 6.5 inches.

Note:
Mine's sitting on the bench, rather than the garage floor. However, I'm pretty certain the altitude induced difference in height, is not measureable. ;).

I wonder if the gravitational pull was differant over there compared to here if the engine would be taller, I dont think you could measure it because the ruler would suffer the same effect....that may have something to do with the winter time oil cloud lawerance experiances
