MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Heater removal.
| Hi all, Apart from possibly colder legs, are there any MECHANICAL downsides to removing the heater on the MK III? Cheers colin |

| Depends on how you route the coolant. If you block the outlet then under hard driving cylinder nr 4 can get a bit hot leading to pinking etc. If you just bypass it with a piece of hose you will be fine. |

| Some use the heater matrix as an emergency cooling solution I currently have mine a shelf, rusting away Prop |

| Also a brake booster fits very well in the hole thus created |
