MG Midget and Sprite Technical - MG Metro Head
Anyone got one kicking about that they would like to part with? I keep an eye on ebay from time to time and missed one for the sake of a couple of quid a couple of months ago but it had been quite heavily modded and I wasn't entirely happy it was going to be any good for reliable road use. Basically I'm after the odd little bit of bolt on power!

If you see one on Ebay being sold by a guy called LEWIS, do not buy, he's a conman. Cheers John

The MG Metro heads have a recess in the inlet holes that takes a round sleeve that fits into the carb inlet manifold, which is also recessed. Lots of people are selling so called MG Metro heads that aren't! Be careful. The Turbo head has smaller valves too, not recommended. Cheers John

Thanks John, That was what I was led to believe. It's the big valve non Turbo head I'm after!
