MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Window seal fitting questions..

hi All,
I need to replace my window seals on my Mk III as they are a bit perished.
I have the seals, the clips & I bought a tool to fit the clips.
I was wondering, should I take off the door cards - will that help at all?
Does anyone have any tips to make this ( apparently) horrible job easier?
Cheers all

Colin, yes take the door cards off. The reason why - because you WILL drop clips down inside the door, however careful you are with the fitting tool. A bit of blue tack or double sided tape will help keep the clips on the tool as you manoeuvre it into position

Magnet on a stick, is a good friend even with the cards removed

I've not done this with the door assembled, but would removing the "rest" at the bottom of the door allow the window to lower more and help give more room to work?
Trevor Jessie

There should be enough room with the window fully down.

I got so frustrated trying to fit these seals that I just did not bother.

Yup, that works, too.
