MG MG Y Type - Lucas Dynamo - YA and YT

Does anyone have access to Lucas Part Numbers for Dynamo Component parts - bearings - bushes - armatures - end plates - etc - etc.

I have a neighbour with a good supply of Lucas NOS component parts in original packaging, but no catalogue to know what they fit.

Have you tried what we have in the <Technical Centre>/<Technical Data> page on the website?

Of particular interest may be the Lucas Overseas Technical Correspondence Course see https://www.mg-cars.org.uk/imgytr/techdata.shtml#Correspondence_Course, but also of interest and use may be the Lucas Equipment and Spare Parts List, 1951, 1952 and 1953 which also have part numbers on them with pictures.

Not a comprehensive listing of Lucase Dynamo parts but will give you a start.

Tony, there is a guy in Melbourne by the name of Kevin Baker who is a gold mine of info on all things Lucas,he stocks old stock Lucas parts. Give him a part number ,and he will rattle of the top of his head what it off.His P# is 0429 465 736.

Should have said, the list is from a 1953 Lucas catalogue - I don't have anything earlier.
