MG MG Y Type - need a little help , please

Hello need some help
forgotten to take the distance
i need the distance between the car and the edge
or the yello line
i have to fix the fender to the red metal sheet as you see in the second picture
please in mm

FT Franz

Hi. I think I for one need a bit more information to help you. In particular I am puzzled by what you mean by "the car and the yellow line". I assume you are interested in how much the wing projects from the body. I expect it would have been clearer if the second picture had come through.

only time on weekend
so i done it
take the distance from the left side fender

it is rusty too but was still ok to take it

sorry i thougt you understand what i mean

here a picture what i have done
have to makle new running boards too

will paint it with epoxy ground next weekend

i hope i can make the other one in the evening next week, less time but this part is not too bad

FT Franz

it looks good to me. I have rule which says that once you have got it mechanically correct you then make it look right. If it looks right then it is right.

You could put the wheel and tyre on that may help you eye it up . John B

not possible, chassis and body not together
but
the fender was really rusty, but i could see the edge, so it should be ok,
if not i have to take the hammer again
today i prepared the other side,
there i will take a template from this side
so both side are identical
nwyr qwwk i qill try to make new running boards
FT Franz

... nwyr qwwk, eh? - must be Welsh.
Still an awful lot better than my German, Franz!
