MG MG Y Type - Traveller rear dor hardware
I found a pair of rear doors from a Morris Minor Traveller, but all the hardware is missing. Can anyone help me locate a set of hinges and the handle and latch assembly? Also need one hinge mount stud and the aluminum lower door panels. Thanks, Scott

Hi Scott Try http://www.morrisminoroc.co.uk/. Someone there should be able to connect you with a vendor hopefully. Paul

Scott, I rebuilt one about 20 years ago. The aluminium door panels are only flat sheet aluminium, so can be cut from 16g sheet. No need to buy from a specialist.

Thanks, guys!

How much do you want to spend? And do you need more? There's a complete parts car for sale in Holland: http://link.marktplaats.nl/137810326 As you can see on the Y-website where I submitted some drawings, it is my dream also to create a Y-Traveller sometime.

Hi Willem, I don't want a whole Traveller, but would like the rear sliding window assemblies plus the rear door hardware. I would spent up to $500 for all that. Thank you, and Happy New Year to all! Scott

In case any of you are wondering why Scott is asking about Morris Minor bits on the Y website, besides owning (or at least awaiting delivery of a YB from the UK), Scott also bought the remains of Y 4099 from me with the intention of creating a custom Woody Y. You can see his design sketch on the Artists Impression's page at www.mgytypes.org or by clicking on the image attached to this post. Good luck Scott! Paul
