MG MG Y Type - Turn Signal Control Unit repairs

A couple of months ago one of you sent me a Turn Signal Control Unit for repair and overhaul. I have completed the repairs ... but can I find your name and address to send it back? Sadly I cant as the paperwork got cleared away somewhere safe while the clockwork pieces were worked on.

The unit is now ready for return so apologies for having lost the paperwork and please drop me a note off line to let me know who you are and where to send the unit.

It happens to us all, innit... and in due course we found each other again.

Let me take this opportunity to say how happy I am with the repair! I surely thought the unit was useless (and irreplaceable) when I sent it to Paul - but now it is as new again, at a very sensible cost (and rapidly, if I had bother to ask for it earlier, but restoration progresses slowly!) So if anybody else out there has a problem with their turn signal Control, our webmaster is the one who will be able to fix it!

Thanks Jack and yes my apologies.

I cannot guarantee a unit can be repaired without seeing it ... but if it can I will. My team here are now very familiar with the clock mechanisms and I have a couple more heading back to Australia in the not to distant future too.

Where you goin' Tony? Coming north?? John.

Not that far North John, just west of Noosa.

A bit of a lifestyle change, and a chance to escape the big city. I will be working from home in future. I will also be building my dream shed/garage/workshop to do the MG's properly.

If you are ever on the Sunshine Coast you are always welcome.

Roger that - keep in touch!
