MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - 1ST Trophy Blue ZT seen on Glos Roads.

Thanks to the sharp observation of my son Martin, I saw my first blue ZT only a few hundred metres from my home today. Not seen a blue one before. A beautiful sunny clear blue sky December day so went for a 20 mile spin in the MG Montego. Even saw an Elise and MGF with the soft tops down - brave souls, bet they were a bit cold though.

Back to the ZT; parked alongside at the lights got a good look at it. I now think this model will look good in any colour - several other drivers were eyeballing the car too. It really looked the business in the bright sunshine. This particular ZT did not have a rear spoiler.

Month or so back, I was begining to think Gloucestershire's car drivers were not too keen on the new Z cars because I'd seen so few. Lost count of those seen since. Cant be bad ...... for MG-R and good ol' UK.

ANONYMOUS of 'pool. You oughta get out more!

If getting out more means seeing more of those wretched 116's, then I'd rather stay wherever MEGA is seeing the Z's!
See the "sunny day" post for a laugh on this.......

I saw my first Z car in London (apart from mine of course) on Friday afternoon. I was walking back from the pub and I saw a yellow ZS180 waiting at the lights to cross over Greys Inn Road, not too far from ITN. Although the yellow colour makes the car stand out a lot, I'm not so sure that it is suited to the ZS. In my oppinion it is more a smaller car colour, ideal for the ZR.

I know it seems a bit train-spotterish, but I was getting a bit lonely here thinking I had the only ZS in London...

I saw my first ZT in Cambridge this evening. It was just leaving the local take away, so I'm sure I will see it again! It was Trophy Blue, but not a clean and shiny as my ZS :-)

Drove down to London yesterday (for a day's shopping with my wife).

Only saw 1 Z in the city, a red ZT which looked fab, quite a few Fs about though.

Saw a couple of ZSs on the M1, a silver ZS120 near Chesterfield, stayed behind it for a while before going past and waving (we were in my wifes yellow ZR) but got response. The other was a blue ZS on the way home (about 11pm) which shot past as if we were crawling along (we were only doing 70 (ish) - honestly officer)

The RED does look well on the ZT. While the ZS suits Trophy Blue. While the ZR - Trophy Yellow. IMHO!

Merry Xmas

Is the red a post box red or a slightly maroon red ?
Different photos seem to indicate both.

Also,in the Kittens photo, one of the girls seems to have a royal blue ZR;is this colour available now ?

The red (solar red) used on the MG saloons (like my ZS) is a bright red - post box red may be a good description.

The blue on the Atomic Kitten photo is Trophy Blue - the photo makes it look a little darker than it really is.
