MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - front mudflaps trivia for a ZS
Er, does anyone know. Can you get 'em? Can you just use Rover 45 ones or do those little extra sill trims get in the way (our car's a ZS120, which may have littler trims than a 180)? I know mudflaps are not the most aesthetic things, but we live along a muddy road, and the ZS is now caked in sh*te whereas my F is pristine thanks to its mudflaps.

I have been on to my dealer since I bought my 180, cant get anything to fit from MGR, although I think the 120 will take the 45 flaps if you dont have side skirts fitted. I have picked up a couple of stone chips and would like to get flaps for mine. Anyone help?

This question has been asked several times on different forums. Sparco sell sheets of mudflap material which can be cut as required. Probably best to make a template first (using something like an empty cornflakes box) John

That was the best solution I could come up with so far!

None on the back but 45/400 one's on the front - no side skirts

Sorry to be boring about this, but are they plain or Rover-badged, Rob?
David Bainbridge
The 25 and 75 ones are not badged so a fair bet the 45/ZS ones are not either. Only the F ones seem to be and suspect this was a product of the early days of the F when the car had more MG badges that I have had hot dinners! Cgeers Patrick

I have the R45 front flaps on my ZS 120+. They are not badged and in my opinion, do not look great, but they do work..

If you have side skirts, current MGR flaps DONT fit!!

Went and asked B&G yesterday, and they said there was indeed a problem fitting 45 flaps to the 180, and that MGR are currently designing/making some. B&G's little faces always light up when you ask them an apparently obscure question and they know that they know the answer! Malcolm Gammons has a blue ZS180, which is usually parked on Baldock High Street. My kids always shout out 'Mummy's car!' when they see it.

I had a go had MGR recently in an article which wot I wrote, was published in an MG magazine. I know MGR read it, mudflaps was on my want list!! Maybe they took note!! Kelvin

Totally debadged - look ok - dont scrap on the floor as I thought they might well do. Dont have then colour coded - well i'm not cos my car is silver and if it comes off they will look sh*t
