MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - MG ZS IN ACCIDENT - BMW HITS BACK

A yellow MG ZS was shunted from the back today M69/A5 area near Hinckley by a BMW. Boot, spoiler, bumper all damaged. Is this the first of the new MGs to be involved in an accident?
Was the action of a typical BMW driver or something more sinister?

Maybe the MG outbraked the BMW!!

Perhaps the driver of the BMW was too busy chatting to someone on a mobile phone and wasn't watching where they were going. Either that or she (if it was a she) was doing her lipstick in the rear view mirror ;) !!
