... and what a super car it is too. The big red start button on the centre console stays from ZT XPower 500 Extreme and the clutch is quite a managable weight compared with the Extreme I felt at Cardiff. I have said it elsewhere but it is a modern Lotus Carlton.

Don't auto distress read the bloody press releases...

"the X80 retains the 320bhp Ford engine, giving a top speed of 160mph and a 0-60mph time of 5.5 seconds."

Er.. No. The X80 gets the V8s from the ZT 260 and 385s.

Hi,

Jumping over from the Lotus forum...

I've been watching MG quite interested lately, especially the Z Saloons. So, here's my 2p...

I always thought that one of my next cars would be a Phoenix yellow M3, but what MG dares to do know, makes me think twice. Agreed, some people say it's a bit "Max Powered", but I think this is just the whole point of the car: raw performance, from an agressive looking car.

Looking forward to the end of the Beemers leasing already...

Hi Pascal, nice comments. Which Z car were you thinking about getting, the ZS or ZT?

If I had the money it would be a ZT385! Hmm, or I could get two and a bit ZS180s for that! ;)

Steve,

ZT 385 will do fine... should kick my bosses @ss (or at least his M5's) ;-)))
