Zero miles! Must be a mistake? Or are tehy trying to shift the Mk1s since Top Gear featured the facelift model?

Also note the poor arithmetic!!! (29995-22995 = 7000 ; not 5000)

Got a feeling that both of those are not SE spec., which makes them more difficult to sell.
Adrian

I think that lots of dealers bought ZT260s to put in their showrooms just before the facelifted model was launched. I saw one at Exeter MG Rover in May which was full price back then.

I do feel sorry for some of these small dealers who are trying to stay loyal to MG Rover.

Yeah, when I phoned a couple of these type of ads when I was looking to buy a 260, it turns out that the car had "mysteriously" been sold and the dealers were simply attempting to sell a new one, at £27995 particularly the top ad!

The second one looks like the one that Clarkson /Stig thrashed and as a result probably is worth about 57p!

I expect warp speed depreciation on the ZT, and you know what....I don't care! the car is UTTERLY BRILLIANT!

Neil

You don't have to worry about depreciation if you never intend on selling the car Neil :o)
Rob Bell

The Top Gear car was a facelifted model so not the same one.

Rover 75 and ZT depreciation is amongst the best in the industry. Renault Laguna is the worse.

Time will tell with the V8 versions but these cars are exceptional because the dealers have been caught with a load of now obslete versions.

I know what you mean Neil - lots of car supermakrets used to try this trick. I once went to see a Rover 200 BRM and when I got there the screen price wa about £2000 more than in the paper. The salesman said, "Oh that's a different one with lower mileage."

Now we all know they only built about 750 RHD BRMs so what's the chance of them having two in the same week when they only had about half a dozen Rovers?

The car at Clist & Rattle near Bristol was not there when I went to see it on Sunday :-(
