MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - Oh dear...

Is this a joke or something? Found these pix of the 'Art car' announced at Geneva...

Er... I'm speechless.

See MG news for all the other (better) stuff from MGR.
I love the concept vehicle!

LOL, those pix were up on Pistonheads a couple of weeks ago. I'm afraid its no joke!
At least it counterbalances that horrid macho concept car.

Dot,

I kinda get the impression that you don't like the TCV concept car.

It's good for shopping, buying TV's, washing machines etc. Just think if it was made it might just take off, resulting in a lot less white vans around.

If it sells and keeps MGR in business then OK. If it gets rid of a few white vans, even better. But I still don't like it.

Maybe I'm living in a world of my own, but I wanna see a nice new sporty roadster with an MG badge on it.
Dot

I quite like it, wanted to buy the ZTT but although the volumetric capacity in the back was good the tailgate opening was pitiful, you could have barely got a Jack Russel through it let alone my pair o' mutts (or my dogs for that matter!).

This would have been much better, I guess by the time they actually make it I'll be ready for another new car anyway. Perfect!

But I still don't like it. <

Look on the bright side - neither will Renault/Nissan, Citroen, GM/Opel, Ford, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Honda, Volvo, VW/Audi, etc. etc. from whom something like TCV would nick boatloads of business...

Howard

Dot,

I understand your sentiments, however I want MG Rover to be a big enough company to be able to produce a full range of MG sports cars and Rover cars. Without the financial benefits of scale of a medium sized car producer they would become just another TVR.

I think what we all want those that read and contribute to this board, is MG Rover to evolve into a credible British BMW rival.

It might just happen. Provided the work force don't strike! Anyone got any news re ballot yesterday?

Roverised PT Cruiser with a big V8 tucked away in there somewhere perhaps! :-)
