yep i have been on gas with a ZS 2.5v6 for about 50k then just swaped to a ZT-T on gas its a blast, costs about £23 per 360 miles in the ZT-T and performance is not down at all, MPG is, but with gas 35p per ltr you would be crazy not to .

Where did you get your 2.5 V6 converted! I know MG R offer the 45 1.8 with gas, but I didn't think they were doing a 2.5KV6?
What was the cost of the conversion if I may be so bold?
TIA

....Just be careful of botched conversions....

MultiPoint LPG Injection is the only way to go.

One MPI and sequential system is being marketed by PTP www.ptp-ltd.co.uk Thier dev car is certainly not short changed in the perfromance area, but I think the cost is high even accounting for possible Powershift grants.

Hi guys

2 yrs ago when i had my 1st Kv6 converted you did have to be careful where you went for conversion, continious feed multi point was the method of choice then. for the latest one you need to look at the powershift regester to find the nearest converter to you who fits the rover factory kit, rover dont fit them, they have a web of companies who fit for them, even to the extent that the one i used takes the cars from the line to fit then back to the distribution network out to the dealers, you can order any new rover with gas already on it. so its fully 3yr guaranteed, there are other kits available but i can only tell you about the rover one. Performance is not affected but you will see a drop in MPG, I know its sad but i have a spread sheet with costs / savings ploted so anyone who wants more info, about the conversion costs or the SS (its in excel) please mail me.

Interesting to note that Powershift grants are now on hold and no new grants will be considered until April 2004. Interesting date as that gives the Government time to change the taxation rates. This is the knife in the back of this system now we wait for the several twists and turns of the knife to make sure it hurts.

They've run out of money - allegedly.
Again allededly, there is already funding in place for next year and so grants will be available... so I'm just gonna keep my fingers crossed and postpone my LPG convertion 'til April.
