I confess I can't see the connection between the link and 45 estate - am I missing something? Or is someone, per chance, looking for a chance to plug another BBS - no, surely not!

Back to the topic. I think the estate was a one off by MGR using some estate version of the Honda Civic (Aerodeck built in the US?) but the message was this is the one and only!

The 45 estates are a bit down the thread which is linked - just need to scroll down to it.
Also has a picture of an ' uprated' ZS.

I think that the ZS estate may be a red herring. The coach work seems to be Civic estate - tooling that MGR never had access to.

There was an orange car that was highlighted on this BBS about a year ago. Conclusion was that this was a one off. Is this the same car, resprayed?

The probability that this is an official MGR is vanishingly small - especially given that the new car is currently being engineered for launch in a couple of years time...

Civic Estate...
Factory Worker

This was a Honda Civic Aerodeck that someone in the MG Rover company badged up, more or less on his own initiative. Auto Distress published the photo and suggested the car was slated for production. Along with flying pigs...

I saw this car parked outside a house in Redditch a few weeks ago.

Stopped and had a look - its clearly a Civic estate with a ZS front on it. It has Rover badges on the sides and back. It doesn't sport a Rover car park pass so I doubt its even owned by someone at MGR.
