MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - Sorting a ZS120?

I've got a ZS120 and like it lots but I would like to improve the performance of it as much as possible. Has anyone fitted an induction kit, new throttle body or anything to make their 120 "cheekier"? Anyone had their car put in police mode by their garage and does it make a difference?

Cheers

Fitted Pipercross to my ZR120+. Not taken car to rolling road so no scientific data. But feel it pulls better from standing start but may just be psychological. Engine has lovely deep roar though at mid to higher revs. Certainly not psychological. Love it too!

Also had car put into Police Mode. However, had this done on day 2 of owning it so can't comment on performance changes (if any). There's certainly been a great debate about Police Mode. Just tread wearily. Despite what some may say, Police Mode does NOT disarm the immobiliser's passive arming facility.

Considering new throttle body at moment.

Have still not found a ZS 120 Road Test but the descriptions/comparisons in the
http://www.newcarnet.co.uk site are quite helpful

A V6 would do the trick mate :-)

There is certainly a big power gap between the 120 and the 180 which MGR should try to resolve
if the" 120 "sales are to continue to progress-too many 'ordinary ' cars are now at the 110/120 HP
level

I dunno - I was quite happy to be able to afford a car with such cool suspension and looks! Fuel economy too. The ZS120 is the ideal family car for us!

I can only agree with David on this.
The 120 offers looks and performance but also economy, especially if used a lot in town.

Some of our friends drove round to see us in their Impreza Turbo at the weekend. Hmm. I wonder where MG got the idea for Trophy Blue from ?!?!?!?!
