MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - Was that a ZT-T 260 that passed me?

Last night (13 November) at about 6:30 p.m. I was in traffic on the Ewell by-pass driving my ZBV when I was passed by a ZT-T that didn't sound as quiet as they normally do. It had twin exhausts but I couldn't see the label.

I exchanged nods with the driver at the next traffic lights.

Was that a 260? I didn't think that any tourers were made.

thanks

260s were made in both saloon and tourer versions.
One of the first pre-production models I saw (and followed for about 40 miles) on the M6/42/40 in 2003 was a ZT-T.

I passed a BRG ZT260 on the M40 near Marlow Monday morning about 8 am

Yes there were ZT-T 260s made

Looked at a Starlight Silver ZTT260 before buying the diesel. It was going for over 20 grand initially, and this was a poverty spec car too... But the price became progressively more attractive - particularly in the weeks after we purchased our ZTT CDTi. D'oh.

Rob have a look around now. they are as cheap as chips

SMC Slough had an SE with zero miles last time I looked!

Neil

There's a black SE on Fleabay at 14k at the moment - and I suspect that is probably overpriced in today's market...

Could be
:-(

Neil

Interestingly, been chatting to someone who has already viewed the car. Flat battery, nasty paint scrapes, and blacked out windows that make it feel as though you're driving the Adam's Family's wheels...

Realistic value is probably closer to 11k - even if it has all the toys!
