MG MGA - Desperatly need
My disc brake conversion has ground to a halt, due to one missing key part. I am looking for a USED front left side (course thread) 1600 wire wheel hub (4 bolt holes. I have purchased two from eBay but they were not as stated , nor as the pictures represented. So I am taking a shot at maybe one of the members can direct me to where I might obtain one. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks to all.

Gordon, try Sports Car Craftsmen in Colorado. Good inventory of MGA parts (I sourced a coupe dash from them), nice people to do business with. They helped someone else from this board with a hub not long ago. Google for contact info. George

You also might try Cecelia at Scarborough Faire (on eBay as NOS Imports). She frequently has used parts she's willing to sell.

I though that MGA WW hubs were fine thread (12 tpi) and MGB hubs were 8 tpi. I have both on my car - fine at the front and coarse at the rear. The P/O must have used MGB hubs on the rear. I have some spare MGB front hubs, but the bearings are different to the MGA.

Art, Based on Gordon's post, I don't think he has wire wheels. Jim
