MG MGA - Fender shape

I am replacing the bottom flange on my LH fron fender. The PO did such a bloody awful job that I need a bit of help. Looking from the side, I know that the bottom of the flange is staight as it has to match the inner sill, which is straight. Then, going forward, does it project straight as far as the rear of the wheel opening, or is there a slight rise? The remains of the PO work has about 1/4" rise, but I suspect it's accidental.
I have fabricated a straight flanged piece and I'm about to tack weld, so a quick answer would be appreciated!

Art-
Was wondering last night how your fenders came out.
Not clear to me what your question is, but I do not recall any rise, and I made a lot of fender bottoms long ago.
In any event, Barney is the man, and has pics of everything if not explicit instructions.
And
I think the Eclectic Motors website is still available some way.

Fletcher, thanks.
My question is, looking at the fender bottom flange, from the side, is it straight all the way? (about 24.5 inches).
Fenders are coming on quite well thanks, now I have an outside tent where I can make a lot of dust outside of the workshop. I'm de-rusting, priming the insides and filling the outsides. (I'm not good enough to beat panels with no filling, esp. seeing my starting point.) The tent will be my spray booth!
I also have the body mounted with a box beam through it so I can invert it to do the underneath.

I have also replaced the bottom parts on the front fenders and they should be straight.

I'm sure the crease is straight. The absolute front lower corner of the lower edge may be radiused or something, can't recall. The car in my driveway has one square on a fiberglass fender, and one swept up, on a patched steel fender. But the rest of the 80's - early 90's resto sucks.
If you have the finishing strips you'd have a clue. Barney is now at 2300 pages, you'll have to look yourself!

Thanks guys. The crease is straight. But the last little bit I will radius.
I bent the new piece from sheet myself, so did not have the professional bit to go by.

FYI
I radius any edge or corner service personnel (me) might come in contact with!
Only Q is how much.

When finished it should be very straight and level along the bottom edge, at least as far as the front end of the lower body trim strip. In the vicinity of the front hole that accepts the bolt for the splash panel, the bottom edge begins to curve upward some, then sort of merges into the wheel arch curvature.

Great. Thanks Barney.

Art, I don't know if this will help but here is a Factory general Arrangement drawing that shows the side view of the lower front fender as intended.

Hope this helps.

Hi all
You can see on Barneys picture 2726 left side is bend at 45deg and looks like .... 2730 has nice radius. I purchased the lower fenders sections and they were as 2726 show. I had to re-do both of them to look decent.
