MG MGA - Head gasket

What is the latest view on decent head gaskets available in the UK please?

A pal of mine needs to replace his.

The Peyton brand seems to be a popular choice here in the states. If not available in the UK, I feel certain a Peyton gasket kit could be shipped to you from here.

Hi Colin
I have just fitted a Payen head gasket, which is recommended on MG Guru site. Maybe worth a try. Bought mine on ebay.

Just put a Payen on mine too

The one showed in Brians image is the one and only to use.
Forget the copper gasket!

The copper ones are rubbish. Use the Payen brand composite resin one, they have a much longer MTBF
