MG MGA - Is this the best rear hub nut spanner yet?

I have just seen this new hub nut spanner from B&G. Looks the goods! Friend who used it says works a treat. Bolts to the hub so cannot slip off, 1/2" drive or a bar thru the holes to tighten.

Actually that's pretty clever. Maybe overkill but nothing wrong with that.

Yeah, I agree, bit overkilly but there's something about it I like
It's a wonder someone hasn't come up with one like the pushbike cassette tools where there is a spigot to go up in the tube to hold the socket lined up--that would save having to bolt it on
Actually I think I might make one, they would sell ok I reckon
William Revit

dam-someone's already done it
This one's for a Midget

William, that's probably an original factory service tool. The one for the MGA was about the same:

The one that Mike posted pictures of, looks like a commercially produced version of what some owners have come up with on their own. Personally I didn't have any trouble getting mine torqued with a Moss socket.
