MG MGA - Judson on ebay

There's a complete Judson on ebay (260261304697) which is misdescribed as being for a Classic Mini Cooper.

Should I let the seller know that it's not what he thinks, or allow someone to buy it to find it won't fit, or just let someone here have a bargain?

Ethical conundrums.......

Dominic, So it is for an MGA but has the wrong carburator and the tube exhaust is not anything MG. Makes me wonder how much else is wrong with it. I saw one that sold recently, though not for an MGA, with rotor slots so worn that I wondered if it would work. The part that looks best is the valve cover/oiler. It probably looks even better to me as I don't have that part--but I do have a pump with excellent rotor slots, new vanes, overhauled. My carburator is a NOS with the glass bowl. So if this one is worth $3000 or $3500 what do you think mine is worth??

Gee, guess I shouldn't have flogged mine for $800. :-)

But then it WAS quite a few years ago, and the thing is really more for looks than performance......

Last two on ebay went for c 4500. The correct carb is only about $250 refurbished. Cosmetically it looks OK and is complete. At the price it's worth a punt, but forget the manifold.

Seems like he figured out that its for an MGA. Unfortunately $3,500 is still a little too rich for my wallet.
