MG MGA - Kwikfit and Tubes

For info. Having had a puncture I went to Kwikfit yesterday, as I have done previously for punctures and new tyre fitting. Seemingly it is now company policy not to touch tubes but local company across yard were more obliging. By the way I am on disk wheels.

I've just bought a new set of wire wheels & I understood them to be tubeless but they're not !! Lodge Tyres have supplied me with a set of tyres & tubes & I should have them back on Tuesday. If there's one local to you, might be worth giving them a try.

Well, I just received my order from Moss (LBcar Co) of 4 new chrome wires. They are tubeless compliant! The nipples area has been sealed and they come with valves attached.
Has anyone installed tubeless tires on these rims? They are made by MWS.
Also, anyone know of a shop that can properly balance WW in the area of Ottawa, Kingston, Brockville, Cornwall Ontario?

My wheels are from MWS as well so I wasn't est pleased to find they aren't tubeless.

My chrome wire wheels are also from Moss and are tubeless. I have Coker Classic side whites mounted without tubes and they are holding sir well.

I was comparing my new MWS wheels with the ancient Dunlops. On the old ones, all the spokes connect to the outside edge of the rim, single line.
On the new ones, the spokes from the outside of the hub cross over into a new line on the side of the bead channel. Should be a stronger configuration.
The nipples are sealed with a rubber/ silicone type of material, so the tire bead on that side mates rubber to rubber, whereas on the inside bead it is rubber to metal
Is there anything to know about bead lube so that the two rubbers don't weld together with age?

To those with new WW made by MWS(Art, Ray, Jim, etc.): I imagine you had your installer spin-test the wheels for accuracy. Was there any noticeable axial or radial runout (out-of-round)? I'm interested in a set of WW from Moss, but have had bad luck in the past (1990s) with their quality.
Thanks for any comments.

A Morgan garage is a good place to get tubes fitted correctly. They also have the right kit to balance wires too.

Tyler, I recommend these wheels.
Had them installed at a local shop who does all the cars which nobody wants to touch!
He has the correct cones for WW balancing. Had the car out and I must have been way off balance before as the car is now much smoother at speed, had it up to 80.
Tyres were installed tubeless, no prob. I'm rumming Continental 165 -15
I tested one wheel for true on a jig I'd made and it was totally straight (or round). Haven't tested the others as I was in a hurry.
Bought from LBCar Co - they offer 15% off Moss.
