MG MGA - MGA Day Croome Court 2017

Hi All
Had a great day at Croome Court looking at all the A's. Saw a Dove Grey 1600 reg 9230BT which jogged my memory. I believe the car had come from Hereford for the day. I remembered taking a photo of the same car at Kilerton House Devon in 2003 (see below). Is it in the same ownership? Perhaps someone on here can throw some light. My A was dove grey, but is now black so I must have taken the photo for reference.

We really enjoyed the MGA Day too Brian,
as usual, I spoke to only about 10% of the people I intended to and so apologies to those I missed, again!

We had a fascinating tour of Croome Court too, some brilliant guides in there.

Congratulations to our friends Lindsay and Linda Sampford, to whom the organisers awarded the car the prize for being the most admired car of the day. They particularly liked it for being "a good honest UK car".

Lindsay was taken aback to say the least, saying things like "Is this a wind-up"? and "Have they looked underneath"?
I think it was well deserved though, Lindsays MGA is pretty rapid for a 1500 and he drives it like a sportscar should be driven too, so well done to him.

Also, our thanks to Jon who organised another great new MGA Day venue.

great video, but surprised to see RIP at the end as I thought the Godwins had already shipped back to Oz at the end of their travels. Maybe the asbestos controls are the end of RIPs days in Australia
