MG MGA - Mga steel wheel hub cap studs
I am looking for a location, where I may purchase the studs that hold the hub caps to the wheel. There are three (3) per wheel and one of the wheels I have has none. I thing it would be possible to have a machinist make them for me, and then I could have them welded on, but would like to try and obtain the origonal type first. Thank you

Hi Gordon I think I am confused with your request. My hubcaps clip onto the wheel with an interference fit onto raised sections on the rim. If you can post a picture as I am intrigued as to your method of attachment. Barry

Hi Now I understand. Thanks Barry

Gordon It's probably cheapest to buy another wheel with the three pins. Alternatively buy a damaged wheel, cut out the pins and weld them in to your wheel. Cheers Dave

Dominic, That is exactly what I am looking for. A little bit pricey and a long way to go to get them but , if I must so be it. Just in case, is there a chance that someone knows where to get them a little closer to home

Gordon, A machine shop or someone with a lathe should be able to copy a few for you.
