MG MGA - Resize pictures

Some while ago someone advised of a programme to download, so that pictures could be resized, and then posted on here.
Any ideas where it is?

You may already have the simplist program to do it which comes with the office sweet and is called microsoft office picture manager
simple to use and 3 clicks the job is done

Thanks Bob.
This is a MGA police car that was on duty, on the track at Goodwood yesterday

There are 4 compression choices, perhaps you could use a higher one which gives a larger image. Have a play around.

Ah, that's better.
Is this Steve Giles' car?

Nigel, You ask -- "Is this Steve Giles' car"?

It is not Steve GYLES car. Steve has a cut down windscreen, bumpers and is PSJ-903

Barry has said it all.

Goodwood brings back memories to me. I used to go there in the 50s whilst on summer holidays at Eartham House nearby. I regularly watched the practising for the 12 hour race held every August. It was full of D-Type Jaguars. Drivers included the likes of Moss and Hawthorn. Wooden stands and pits as I recall; no crash barriers. All very exciting for a young kid.

You seem to have got the hang of resizing. If you want to go further and learn how to put in arrows and words on your photos you can use another application in the 'office sweet' (sic) - PowerPoint (there are other products). Email me and I will tell you how to do it.

Damn you Steve, I was trying to keep that quite/quiet?

Thanks Steve, but I think you have already posted guidelines in the past, and I have printed them off. However, my new computer does not have Powerpoint.

Nigel
Thanks - enjoyed your pictures. We had a great day down there and your pictures brought it all back. Any more?

I have to admit I have one of my wife with Will Young but I think she was probably the only person there that would recognised him!

I've been using xv for almost 20 years. You do need an X Windows server running on your workstation for most versions, but I believe there is a version for Windows with that included if you're into that type of thing. It allows cropping, resizing and other minor manipulations. Not a substitute for Photoshop or Gimp, but I use it for 99% of that I do with pictures.

There is a freeware thing called irfan viewer that does picture resizing and format conversion

Graham,
No more of any MGs I'm afraid, just various other ones of the day.
