MG MGA - Roadster boot lid

I have a MGA roadster boot lid for sale. It’s in fantastic condition painted in primer. Anyone interested let me know. MG’s gone now so surplus to requirements. Open to offers but would need to be collected from Hereford area.

Hi Paul,
I'm looking for a spare boot-lid for my car, I want to have a spare lid which I can fit a luggage rack onto as I am reluctant to drill holes for one in my existing lid.
How much would you be looking for?

Steve it would be a shame to drill a good lid if Paul's was undrilled. I might have one with holes I'll check when I get back home next week if you like?

Not a problem. I was amused that Colyn wants to fit a rack. He has always been very anti them for looks. However, I guess he now needs more room for his ever expanding travelling spares and tool!

He sells most body panels for the MGA and has a louvered bonnet on his website.

And for the record, I have no connection with Mickey other than buying something from him several years back.

I think Metal Mickey is where Moss, MGOC and NTG body parts all come from. I say this based on an issue I had with a repair panel a couple of years ago where they all ran out at same time and also all came back into stock at same time!

I wondered if anyone would notice me mentioning the boot rack!

However, if Pauls boot rack is un-drilled I may actally use it to replace my present lid which has some odd circular marks at the outer edges.
These look a little like holes that have been filled and painted over and it looks like the paint is cracking around the edges of the holes.

Then I will keep the present lid to use in the unlikely that SWMBO persuades me to fit a boot rack.

To be honest though, it is much more likely that I will use the holes in the old boot lid to mount a rear spoiler! :^)
