MG MGA - Simple supercharger
I have just returned from the MGA day at Upton House. There was a car with a very simple way to add extra power and improve fuel consumption. Details in photo attached.

I can only see one problem with this setup. As the car goes, the winding key rotates, hitting the driver in the head. Hey, maybe that's what this driver needs!

AH SO! That's where my bug winder-upper went. Sandy

I couldnt get to MGA day as I was away on holiday but I just got back and saw your picture Graham. Hope you enjoyed the day as much as I said you would. I recognise the car in your picture though, I see you have finally discovered the secret of Vin Rafters 2000(ish) mile trip around Europe a month or so ago. He claims tha his car was almost 100% reliable apart from an oil leak that stopped him early on in his journey. I think that he just forgot to wind up his car that morning!! (Does Noddy know that you have taken his car Vin? Sorry I missed you all at MGA day, looks like it was a great day out. Colyn

It was a good day - the owner of that particular car was also working on an idea for wind-up windows!
