MG MGA - Taking B & A rivalry to a new level!
With the above average winter rains Melbourne is now experience a 30% increase in the number of bees. One hive decided to take up residence on a Club member's MGA last week. The apiarist who removed the hive reckons there were around 7000 bees - they were moved on easily without any damage to the car. Mike

Wow. When my car was living in it's "under a tarp" pre-restoration phase, some yellow jackets built a nest under the driver's seat, but it was nothing like that!

Its just as bad a problem over here in the UK. We recently had a really severe swarm of B,s on the 23rd September at the Blenheim Palace MGB-50! :-) Colyn

No Willem he didn't use beeswax but thinks it might have been the B series engine that attracted them. It certainly put a bit of sting the old MGA! Mike
