MG MGA - Yuletide Drive

Here in the Pacific Northwest, weather this Fall has been wetter and stormier than usual. I hadn't had the MG on the road since September. But yesterday the clouds parted and the rain stopped, so we got to enjoy a little festive seasonal cruise. We stopped at the Beach Basket Christmas Shop in Gig Harbor (WA) where a friend who was working there snapped the attached picture. I was hoping to get a picture in front of a Christmas tree, but they just aren't as interesting in the daylight hours. That's it - a totally self-serving post. But happy holidays to everyone here, and their cars as well!

The UK winter weather has been favourable this year (although tendency for rain) and I have been able to get some miles in on the A and the Frog at least once a week.
In many respects driving with the roof down on a cold, sharp, bright day is much more enjoyable than mid-summer when (albeit rarely!) the sun is beating down!

Mid 60's are predicted here in Connecticut for Christmas Eve.....looks like my A will be out for a drive (I do miss the snow however).

There's a chance we might get a little of your Christmas snow here in the Puget Sound region.

West Coast & Central US seem to be getting the snow; here in CT they are now predicting a high of 67 for Christmas Eve, shattering all previous records. Looks like the 2015 driving season may last into 2016!

Happy Holidays To All!
For the first time in my 70 years, I drove my 57 MGA topless - the car, not me, on Chrstmas Day. Much better than the 26 below zero of last year!

Out on Christmas Eve here. Dry days are few and far between at the moment.

It was 64 on Christmas and the next day. Took the TD out for a spin both days. The A's fenders just got epoxy primer.

It's whimpering at the door.

David - Got some of that snow here in Bremerton today. Not much and like all good snow, it went away by nightfall. Cheers - Dave

Too wet for a drive here in NW England over Christmas - but a lovely dry day today with some sunshine - so managed to get in a 25 mile drive to blow away the cobwebs - oh forgot to take a photo.
