| Im sick , the Blue Meanie is seriously BROKE and on top of that , I want to sell it , to help fund new project . I can fix it in time , but I am not racing it because breaking it [or] worse yet , wrecking it would mean even more money lost . | Rick, you are right...that black gt used to reside in SW ohio...but one of those Spurious Sydneyites from the dark side hustled it over state lines to Illinois last year...speaking of which...there is a fellow in nearby Sidney Ohio running a 400 HP 2.3L ford turbo tr6 who I think will be attending the meet in willoughby...he consistantly runs in the 11's at Edgewater in Cincy! See you guys there! |

| As of today, we have 33 entries - where's yours? It'll be a big help to Kurt and I if you could get your entries in by the 18th. If you can't, you can still register at the meet, but it would make our lives a lot easier if you preregister. We had a record number of entries last year - 73 - so let's see if we can beat that this year - can we get 100! See you all there! |

| I have a friend that has a British kit car that he had shipped over to the USA and he put it toghether and I helped on some of it. It is a awsome car that in the UK is sold as a turnkey car and in kit form. Would this be acceptable at the V-8 event. The car was designed for a SBC, but he chose to boost it a bit and used a turbo charged LS-1 for over 500 rwhp. | The CEO of K&N filters has one with a Katech LS7 427 During general practice at willow springs a couple of years ago he passed me,I felt the rumble of the engine in my chest plus the wake of the car, it was totally awsome. It reminded me of a well build V6....LOL |

| I hope things go smoother next week. I took the tow vehicle in for a leaking pinion seal (ext warranty) and they said the rear is toast. I noticed more backlash the last time I drove it. I hope they can get it done tomorrow because I have to put brakes on it for the trip out to OH. Doh! I'm off to prep the RX-Midget for Nelson Ledges and the Polish Mtn Hillclimb next weekend. Hope I don't find anything wrong there..... B. |

| I might bring the TVR as well as the B. Actually, it's up for sale. I need to downsize and the TVR is taking me down a different road than I want right now.. I want to finish my BGT V8 next. I just sold HARV8 and am trying to sell my red Buick powered BV8. I'm keeping my black V8 with the 4 link rear suspension. Perhaps someone might like the TVR and want to make it really great!!! | Tow vehicle is still in the shop. Now the dealer is arguing with the ext. warranty company and I’m stuck driving a POS rental! Rear differential needs to be rebuilt. I’m not sure if I can get it back in time to head out to OH. I’m trying to beg/borrow a truck from a few friends to make it out, but I won’t know if it is a “go” until late tomorrow. This was supposed to be a fun racing “Road Trip” weekend (Nelson Ledges and Polish Mountian Hillclimb), but all I have done is pull what little hair I have out just figuring out how to get there! I have little love for Ford products now….. The car is almost ready to load, I have to finish prepping the tires, put them on and put the fenders back on and clean the car up a bit. The car was nut-n-bolted this weekend; new sway bar mount braces were added yesterday and a rearview mirror added (don’t need one for hillclimbs!). Fuel cell is full and I have to get some more race gas tonight and charge the batteries in the car and trailer and load the car in the trailer. That is my short list to get done by tomorrow afternoon. I really hope to see you all in OH, dragging my trailer with whatever I can find. Brian |
