Bill,
Good fortune on your trip - 2400 miles with the trouble and strife as a navigator can wreak havoc on a man's sanity. I'll have a few cold beers waiting for you on your arrival in Townsend.
Graham Creswick

Have a great road trip, Bill!
Carl Floyd

Drive safe Bill. Looking forward to meeting you in person to put a face with the voice on the other end of the phone!
rficalora

Man, that's a great drive. Well, at least it was 25 years ago. Hope you have every bit as much fun as is humanly possible.

B hopeing I get it all together for the trip to TN on Saturday. :-/
John Renaud

Jack, get off the computer and work on your car.:-)

Another easy day 310 miles
For the nexdt two days it will be 450 and 500 miles and the last leg from Nashville will be a short one 177

Car ran cool 170 and 26 mpg. I can see why MGB owners want AC on their cars.

Bill Guzman

Great progress Bill. Looking forward to seeing you in Townsend.
rficalora

Good day, Fort Smith Oklahoma, Tomorrow, Nashville.
Departed Amarillo Texas at 5 am and arrived in Fort Smith at 1:45.

Bill Guzman

Well we are in Tennesse.
We hit a big bump in the construction area in Memphis, the front end botton first and then the rear suspension, which means the car went airborne, we were going at 55 mph as posted.

That was our second hit, the first one was in Tucamcari New Mexico. the cars front spoiler has very, very, minor damage. Went to an alignment shop to check the alignment and yes, it was out, they re-align the front end and everything is A ok.

Tomorrow Townsend TN.
Bill Guzman

Yikes! Sounds like it could have been a lot worse. Glad there wasn't more damage!
rficalora

See you on Sunday.

Moe

Jim Blackwood
