Ted, Thanks for a great cure for the winter blahs! It
was great to see a bunch of our conversion buddies. It's
also a good wake up that spring IS coming and we had better hustle to get our MG's,etc ready for the summer
trips, show and meets! Regards, Jack

I totally concur! It was a GREAT day! The "three stooges" and tag-a-long made the trek home in good shape...and no foul weather this year!....Another plus, is that the dawg hasn't injured me (yet) today!

Always great to visit with my conversion buddies....

Inspired again...all I need is time!

Ted, We had a great time! This was my first time around so many V8 guys. Good bunch of people. It also gave us plenty to talk about on the way back to St. Louis, Saturday night.
Thanks for the hospiality,

John....you guys missed the visit to the Bonnevile Salt Flats racer project! WOW! rick

The hospitality given by Ted and Judy was again first class - as was Ted's two project MGB V8s in the garage. The trek to see the future Bonneville salt Flats race vehicle was a bonus - 2 turbocharged big block Chevy engines powering a 28 ft torpedo going over 400mph will be a sight to behold.
Also great to kabitz with our fellow enthusiasts, some of whom we see only a couple of times a year due to the travel distances involved.
Guess we get continue the tradition in the Great Smokeys in June....

A great party.

What was the name of the land speed guy we met?

I've posted all my pics from the party on Snapfish:

I wanted to go over to Ted and Judy's for the get together, but I spent the week in Boston at a dental trade show.

Ted and Judy are great hosts and I will not miss the next one.

I was there, but I wasn't really there. I apologize to all that I didn't get to talk to, or to say goodbye to, but I went to bed Friday evening and only got up for a few minutes Saturday afternoon before going back to bed again. I've been in bed almost continously ever since until this morning. I think I'm almost human again.

I really missed going out to see the land speed record car - Dangit!

I really want to thank Ted and Judy not only for their general hospitality, but for taking good care of me while I was ill. And I want to thank Carl Floyd for canceling his flight home so he could drive me home while I dozed all the way home. The V8 gang is a great bunch of people.

Weren't those two V8 conversions in Ted's shop awesome! Does that man do good work or what.

Looking forward to seeing you all again in Townsend (maybe I can stay healthy enough to emjoy it myself this time - getting old sucks!).

Dan...

Glad you're feeling somewhat "back to normal"!

And remember....better living through chemistry...so next time, let me know if I can help!
