MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - KN Minilite and spaced Princess 4pots

I am upgrading my brakes, as a first step in a V8 conversion. The car is fitted with 14x5,5" bolt on KN Minilite replicas from MGOC. Is it possible to fit a Princess 4pot, spaced an extra 10 mm without fouling the rim? I am considering the use of the Peugeot (273x20mm) 505 GTI/turbo, 604 v6 disc/rotor (Brembo parts no: 09.3358.10) . I have seen pictures of Minilite knock on wheels with the above equipment, but is the same possible with bolt on wheels?

Thanks in advance
Erik

Anyone?

You should be OK as I am using Volvo ventilated disk type calipers under minilites with about 5mm to spare. I've also seen pictures with princess style being used. Since the spacered princess calipers are used all the time under minilites it's a safe bet.
If worried you could measure the clearance from axle stubb mounting point to wheel, then you would know for sure.

P.N Sherman,
Thank you very much. Where in NSW are you at? I used to have a really good time in Oz in the seventies. I almost bought myself a series III XKE V12 roadster there. In those days it was USD 6000.

Dates me.

In victoria now.
Hmm the '70's. If I recall, Purple flared jeans, white wide belt, shirts with big pointy collars and silk kercheifs. The only justification would be the willing women.

Peter,
Yes, everyone was Sheila in those days. The only bad thing that could happen was a sneeze.

Erik,

You could try Rover 800 discs. I don't know if the offset will be correct but the stud pattern is good. You will not have to have them re drilled as in the case of the 505/604 items.

Is you 10mm spacer going in the caliper to allow for the thicker vented disc?

David,
IŽll check out all the specs of the Rover 800 discs on the Brembo site and yes I plan to fit 10mm spacers in the calipers.
