MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - non member??

Has anyone else noticed the new (non member) listing next ot everyone's names?? What is up with that?? LAst I checked when I logged in I was a member of this board??
Larry Embrey

Larry,
I have noticed that there are postings by (non member)s who are not neccisarily the nicest people by posting some things in areas that are best left out of this BBS.. Others have been very nice people who just needed help. When I wanted to post, I joined. I have joined other BBSs, but this is one of about three that I actually visit because it always has interesting subjects, wonderful people and always active by people who have the common interest of British built vehicles, namely MG, but several others post here because the other boards are slower or have no post-ers.

Does anyone know why the policy of this board changed? I am not into the politics of the board, but there must have been a reason. Would the board owners/ moderators please step in and explain just for the sake of curiosity?

Larry - not everyone, just non-members, hence not against your posting ... just in case you hadn't noticed ...

Yes,
But what does it mean, Paul ?

Larry,

It's because some people are not members AND because some people are not logging in before posting. Like me, I AM a member, but I usually hit a quickie link to get here. I guess I need to log in and then save that link. I bet this started after a software upgrade. :)
Carl

Carl, That could be what it is. I know I saved my link as they recommended, svaes having to make my lazy fingers do anything more strenuous that clicking a mounse button HEH!!

Larry Embrey

Is that better?
Carl Floyd

Carl says it all, Michael.
Paul Hunt

I don't recall the exact procedre to get on. I had just put the bullitin board on my faverites a long time ago. That made it easy!
John

Log in as a member, go to BBS, then save that as a favourite. Even easier since you don't have to enter your details each time you post.
