MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - Not a V8 conversion, but you've got to wonder why?
This about the weirdest conversion I've ever seen. What was he smoking???? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2407869368&category=6314 Just goes to prove the point - you can put anything in anything.

I didn't think it was possible to install an engine that puts out less horsepower than what I pulled out of there...guess I was wrong! Galen
G.P. Copes
That's crazy. Unique, but you know it can't get out of it's own way. But if that thing can be made to fit, wouldn;t a 6 cyl Porsche engine and transaxle just bolt up, or close to? Maybe it can still be salvaged!
Joe Ullman
Never underestimate what people will do. Somewhere on the Modified Healey Register site, there's a guy who put a Pinto engine in a Big Healey.
Derek Nicholson
Maybe we could fit an Isetta drivetrain......
Jim Blackwood
And to think of all the hell I catch from the tweedy hat purists. I should thank that guy for that atrocity. :-P
Dann Wade
Don't you guys still have capital punishment over there? Just a thought.
