MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - sebring body flares for mgbgt

I also am interested in the flare kits mentioned. Question that I have. Are these parts all metal? Vintage car rules dictate thatthey be all metal. And what of price . Any input is greatly apriciated. I just got back from TWS (Texas World Speedwqay) and the MGB'S were turning 202's on the three mile track. Hmmm a Boxster S is doing good at 200 flat.
Brice

Sorry, but all that I have been able to find were fiberglass.
Galen

Galen and Brice,
Me too will try to give my car the Sebring look. Can you give me the address where you found the flares.
I am going to try and fabricate the flares out of metal. Starting with some fenders from another car out of a junckyard.

I had front Sebring flares added to standard wings. They came out very well, but were expensive.

I have added a section on my website @

Has anyone found a less aggressive- smaller- set of flares? I am looking for "eyebrows" that will blend into the fenders, & round out the rear fender opening.

I have the whole set of Sebring wings and I never appreciated the the lack of quality in them. I have an old rusting shell behind the shop and I'm going to try to imitate the style of the Porsche 944( biting my tongue) fender style for this car. I think, when done with taste, the MGB would accept this style very graciously.Any thoughts? Dann

Dan,
I had exactly the same style in mind. If you take the idea any further please email me the results. The 944 style would give a much more subtle effect, I always though the Sebring arch a bit big/over the top for most peoples needs but the 944 style could be done to give just an inch or two extra clearance,
cheers and good luck.

Ian, I've kept your Email address and I will inform you of any progress. I'm up to my *ss in alligators right now but I hope to get started on it when it gets warmer. Dann
