MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - V8 Newsletter now online

The Jan-Apr 2003 issue of the British V8 Newsletter is now online. You can get to it by wading through the Newsletter site:

http://www.britishv8.org/index2.htm

or:

http://www.britishv8.org/back.htm

or download it directly at:

http://www.britishv8.org/jan2003.pdf

I have solved the problem with the words running together in the conversion to an Adobe pdf file, but the file size is BIG! 12.1MB, in fact, so it will take a LOOOONG time to download. Sorry about that, but I'm working on getting the quality we need at a smaller file size. Maybe the next issue will be better. There are a lot of nice color pictures in this issue.

Excellent job Dan! The newsletter just keeps getting better. I can appreciate the time and effort that goes into the newsletter production and I really like the colour photos and the fact that I can download a copy.
After the previous issue of the newsletter, there was some talk on this board about financial support by those who downlaod to help Dan with the newsletter. I'm sure quite a few sent something along - how about the rest who read the British v8 Newsletter?
Just a couple of days without your favourite designer coffee will go a long way toward ensuring that we will be reading the newsletter for a long time to come.

Greetings!

I had already posted my comments on our financial support (or lack thereof) of the British V8 Newsletter before I saw this thread...

Maybe...just maybe....some of our enthusiasts will take the hint now, eh?

Cheers!

I've been lurking on this board for a while, gathering information here and elsewhere for my conversion. I have the car - a 77 roadster - and am gathering needed parts for the Rover conversion.
I find the British v8 Newsletter invaluable for a newcomer like me and I imagine for those who've been involved for some time. Dan's Masters' editorial dosn't sound very encouraging for those of us who make use of the online version of the newsletter.
I'm sending a few $$ along to help ensure that this resource is available to me for some time to come. If you're using the online newsletter, HOW ABOUT YOU? Let's show Dan Masters our appreciation for a job well done.
Don't let this thread just die.
Frank
