MG MGB Technical - Boot Prop

Can anyone let me see a pic of where the clip goes on the boot lid for the early type prop?

Herb Yes, except I cannot tell which way round the clip is. Perhaps you could take a pic of the rod in the clip, and then that will position it more accurately.

I have blown up the photo a bit, and you can make out the orientation, in to the boot. Unfortunately the auto focus often focuses on the wrong thing.

The clip is as far down the rod as you can go. The distance between the centre of the clip and the centre of the pivot bracket is 270mm.
