MG MGB Technical - Boot Prop
| Can anyone let me see a pic of where the clip goes on the boot lid for the early type prop? Thanks Colin |

| Hi Colin, Is this what you need? Herb
|
| Herb Adler |
| Herb Yes, except I cannot tell which way round the clip is. Perhaps you could take a pic of the rod in the clip, and then that will position it more accurately. Many thanks Colin |

| Hi Colin, I have blown up the photo a bit, and you can make out the orientation, in to the boot. Unfortunately the auto focus often focuses on the wrong thing. Herb

| Herb, yes I know what you mean, but cannot get it from that. Colin |

| The opening faces inwards |

| Thanks Dave, how far from the end of the rod? Colin |
| Colin Parkinson |
The clip is as far down the rod as you can go. The distance between the centre of the clip and the centre of the pivot bracket is 270mm.

| Brilliant Dave! Just what I wanted. Colin |
