MG MGB Technical - MGB Sport Exhaust

Anybody ever hear of or have had any experience with a Marmitti Brand Sport exhaust system.
MK Mike K

Marmitti? You either love it or hate it ... http://www.marmite.com/love/history/love-and-hate.html

Even my dogs won't touch the stuff.

It's Marmitta, Italian.

Oh, you guys are funny.
I have since found out it is Italian.

Hi Andy

My Staffie, Toby was nibbling some Twiglets last night so I guess he loves it. I will see if he takes particular interest in any make of exhaust while he wathces over our dyno sessions. In tests 8 out of 10 doggies preffered Chumtune exhausts :)

Hi David

I thought it was an enjoyable thread and was happy to post. I cannot resist being one of the herd......? :)

Hi Mike

I struggled to find Marmitta Exhausts on the net, many references to bike systems on ebay but not a lot more, are they Portuguese?

We use Maniflow systems.

On many occasions they have telephoned us just to confirm a customer is ordering the best system for them with our spec head/engine.

Hello,

The only italian exahust for a MGB is ANSA:

Very good quality.

There was in 70's another marmitte, extremely popular under the name ABARTH and sold in U.S. by Famous Exhaust (Daytona).

The only other good system is Stebro in s.s: expensive..

Cheers,

Guys
Me too, I love the humor. I have found that this was a Vintage racing style exhaust system similar in style and dating to Abarth. Defiantly Italian design.
I just picked up a NOS muffler and pipe for a MGB.
I have an old Abarth on my early Sprite and it's the best sounding muffler for that car I have heard. Hope this one will be similar, we will see.
Thanks
MK Mike K
