MG MGB Technical - oil pump rotors - available?

I've been examining my oil pump this morning. I have .008 clearance at the lobes instead of max .006. The manual recommends new rotors. Does anyone know if these are available? I've looked at the usual suspects and it seems only the whole pump is available. I would like to reduce the amount of modern parts I put in.

Get the pump and just fit the rotor. Of if it is the walls that have worn (when a new rotor would be no use anyway) the other way round. Of course if both have worn you could always fit the whole pump!

Yes Steve, new rotors are available. Recently acquired them, but in the end didn't use them. Hence i have a pair if you have a problem. But check the housing for wear and scoring. The original housing is a better item than the available new ones, which require a bit a fair bit of "fettling", assuming it is still in decent nick.

Steve,
Rotors are available, and very reasonably priced. From memory, the County set I bought several years ago was around $30.00.

Just thinking around Steve's problem and wondering, and it has been some years since I had my oil pump out and disassembled so recollection may be a little hazy.

In the event there was wear on the walls of the pump housing, could the pump body be sleeved? Issues of cost of course but for someone with otherwise serviceable components and a reluctance to go new parts (quality issue) route, it would offer an alternative if it were possible possible.

Roger, I don't have a problem with pump body clearance i.e rotor outer to pump body. That is within tolerance. My problem is between rotor outer and rotor inner which is a much more complex shape. Looking closer at the inner rotor there is a fair amount of scoring on the lobes so this has to be replaced.

Gotcha, my misunderstanding.
