MG MGB Technical - Summit VS VB or Moss

Still working on what poly bushings to buy. Summit lists a set and the price is about 1/2 that of VB and about 1/4 that of Moss.

I am still considering getting the superflex bushings from England. But, they are the most expensive and would take some time to get them.

Anyone used these?

Bruce,

Your link is not working, but if it is energy suspension parts, I believe, they sell. It is good quality depending if you have a daily driver or a race car.

Personnally I fitted poly bushings on a MGB and, if for A-arm, V8 bushing and V8 are my best selection.

Bruce,

Google "superpro fulcrum".
This is an Aussie supplier and I have been told they are the Superflex manufacturer. I can't confrm this

I have had a set of Superpro on my B for several years and they work well.

Bruce, I have also just fitted SuperPro bushes to my 'B. I looked at SuperFlex but they were so much more expensive. I had also heard that SuperPro and SuperFlex are made by the same people. One SuperFlex distributor implied as much. The only difference I can see is that SuperFlex use stainless crush tubes and SuperPro are coated steel.

Bruce-
I've been using Superflex bushings for years and have never had to replace one. They dampen road noise and vibration quite well while giving good supprt.
Stephen Strange

Super Pro. Had them for ages and they are fine. If anything Super Pro make them for superflex or superflex use Super pro IP as Super pro invented them over 30 years ago.
