Here is a sad pictures of an AH 100/4. Hard to tell by one picture, but is this car worth an effort?? Notice also the pull handle MGB.

That Healey is a fantastic looking car. It is a car that needs to be recovered to give many years fine driving. Wish it was in Florida.

If the car is fairly complete AND I had the money AND I lived in the US I'd have a go. I love my B but the Healey is one of my dream cars.

Mike,

That car looks pretty good when you consider the value of big Healeys.

If it can be had pretty cheap, I'd suggest you go get it.

It would probably not pay off financially if you paid to have it restored, but if you could do all or a lot it yourself, it should be worth a go. If you can't do the work yourself, but can get it cheap, you could probably sell it at a profit to someone who can.

The Healey that makes all the money is the 3000 MKIII. The 100/4 does have a following but is worth about 2/3 of the top price cars. As noted above if you can get it for buttons then it might even add up financially.

Mike,

If not to mush rust and nearly complete you could go for it and save the 'automobile'.

If the frame is salvageable, then the car might make a viable project, otherwise walk away, or perhaps buy cheaply and sell engine and trans with o/d.

PYA, what a great cartoon!

The guy wants $2000.oo for it. What is not pictured is the whole left side of the car has been kicked in and badly dented. A lot of guys have shown interest, so I think I'll let them have a go. I think it is worth saving, but I just have my garage to work on it. How rusty, I don't know.
