MG MGF Technical - aluminium flywheel

hi does anybody know where i can get a lightened and balenced aluminium flywheel from and has anyone had one fitted ? i need to change clutch so i might as well fit new flywheel the same time.the pull of the darkside is too strong!!!!!!
richard

I can recomend the QED flywheel. Very good, Revs up nicely for heel and toe work on track.

Hope this helps,
Duncs.

Have a look at the PTP web site they do an Ultra Lightweight Flywheel. http://www.ptp-ltd.co.uk/MGPerformanceComponents.aspx

Duncan, how much does the QED item weigh?
Rob Bell

Er... Not sure. Been a while since it was fitted but it certainly weighed consiberably less than the origional when Darryl at MOTOBUILD showed me. Pity you cannot see the flywheel as it was a work of art. lol!
Cost wise around £200 I think, maybe a little less. QED have their own website and contact details. 01509-412317 is their number.

Cheers,
Duncs.
