MG MGF Technical - Brake discs wrong size - help!

I'm in the middle of giving the back brakes a much-needed birthday, including new discs. Bought a pair from my usual supplier, and lo and behold they don't ******* fit!!**@@. They double checked the catalogue and a couple of other suppliers and apparently they all list the same incorrect dimensions. I've only got a bog-standard 96N 1.8i, so there must be quite a few others that have needed new discs. Unfortunately RoverMG charge double the amount, so I would prefer to stay independent. Any ideas anyone as to who supplies the correct size discs? Somewhere near Hamilton would be useful!

Mike, moor factors don't normally have a problem - I walked into our nearest and they picked them straight from stock.

Unfortunately I cannot give you the Equivalent Part Number as I passed all receipts on with the car when I sold it.

Thanks chaps - I'm probably going to get a pair sent up from Mike Satur - quick delivery & should be correct! Anyone reading this, check the replacements before you try fitting them - it seems an error has got into the system somewhere. Just offer them up to the wheel studs. If they don't fit over, they're wrong.
And I was only going to clean up the calipers and get the handbrake working!

Mike, when you say wrong size, what do you mean - bigger diameter, thicker disc, wrong PCD, wrong offset or incorrect bell diameter?

Seems that this could be a recurrent problem in future. So as others don't fall into the trap, could you post all the relevant part numbers you were given?

What a frustrating problem!

Yes, all the dimensions were wrong - O/Dia too big, offset too small, too thick and wheel stud PCD to big. We all know that MGF wheels have a unique PCD, so I suspect that the catalogue in question (Brakeworld) has an error in the part number. (Probably some other car owners are getting MGF discs that don't fit). Their part no is RS3481 against the OE ref no GBD90842, and the catalogue quoted dimensions of 240mm for O/Dia, 10mm thickness and 43mm offset. Having already got a correct pair sent up from Mike Satur (thanks Mike if you see this!) I believe the dimensions are correct, but the discs definitely weren't. Anyone planning to buy non-RoverMG discs should take a few sizes off the old ones before they go too far and make sure the replacements are the same!

Thanks Mike - looks as though there is an error in their own catalogue for the part number :o( They'll probably discover that they've transcribed a couple of the numbers incorrectly or something simple like that.
