MG MGF Technical - door noises

on both doors of my 98 MGF I have got this aweful rubber/plastic rubbing noise, it seems to be eminating from the join of the door, frame, and roof right in the corner. everytime i go over a bump i get it in stereo any idea's on a solution for this, its really starting to bug me.

Sometimes the T-Bar rubs on the door trim and makes a noise. Have a look to see if you can see any marks to indicate where the rub is. If it is this, give the edge of the T-Bar a good clout with your hand to knock it back a bit - it fixes to a thin piece of metal which can easily be bent.

The only real answer to that is to get a car without scuttle shake - for example a Ford Mondeo!
