MG MGF Technical - Enamel MG bages for TF?
Does any one know whether any after market supplier makes 70mm enamel MG badges for the TF please? It is a common fault on modern MGs for the plastic badges to delaminate. I saw the plastic replacements on sale yesterday at MG Mania stand at Totally MG event but at £12 each and with a life expectancy of about 18 months that is expensive. David

Could you not coat it in a hard wearing clear varnish/enamel before sticking it on the car? The front badge on my 2001 'F has worn away, and I think that's what I'll do with the replacement.

David, this is something I am going to look into, just as soon as I can find out who owns the copyright. British Motor Heritage own the rights to the MG logo, but not the newer MG Rover version. The only thing is as I own a F it would be the 60mm badge. I am thinking of getting a limited run produced. In stainless steal with two colour enamel. The wine colour and a gold clear enamel showing the horizontal lines etched into the metal. Would many folk be interested? A.

I'd be interested in a TF one - the F version was so much better quality. That goes for the rear badge as well as the front. Tim.

I want a decent set of badges for my ZTT! There's a chap on the XPF who is doing alloy engraved badges (without permission from the copy right holder, who could well be PVH still), but this doesn't "do it for me".

I would certainly be interested in some for my Trophy.
