MG MGF Technical - front left wheel metallic noise

driving my tf at 100 km/h (60-70 mph) I met an hard street hole with my front left wheel. After that, everytimes I meet a street hole I hear a metallic noise in front of my feet, near front left suspension (mine is LHD TF). I've no idea about what's happened, do you have?

the first hole meeting was about one year ago. Since a few time this noise became more frequent an more noisy too.

Seems to suggest some damage may have been done; is there any evidence of uneven tyre wear?

Might be a good idea to return the car to a dealership and get them to have a thorough look at the suspension. Afterall, we are talking about a potentially serious safety hazard?

Italian dealers ? ;)
Dooh, I think they can do Ferraries ... (some)

However, may be you can speak as well in the right language to some friends at http://www.tfpassion.it/forum/
(No worries, User dadidada over there will be very calm) :)

Cheers ! if I only could speak _any_ other italian word then pizza. :(

Anyway. What about news regarding the metallic noise ?
Dieter K.

no news, Dieter.
My car is running well, noise is sometimes present. I have no intention to keep my tf in workshop for some days. I wouldn't drive a "closed" car in the near future (I want to drive my car in next days). If noise will increase I will have to go in workshop but no at this point.

The sentiment is something is not enought tightened. It seems steering whell have a little movement when I meet a street hole.

Hi
cnerone

My metalic squeeking sound was infact break pads....
just a thought.
