MG MGF Technical - Hanes Manual

Does anyone know if theres a Hanes Workshop Manual for the MGF?
If so, where can I buy it over the internet?

dickie

No there isn't, so no you can't.
Rover do a workshop manual, the part number can be found in the archive.
But the archive and the community here are probebly the best rescorce you could find.

PS Back early from he pub in case you had not guessed!

Will,

Thanks for that.

I have no doubt that this community is the best resource for this type of thing.

Sometimes it's a little more comfortable sitting at the fire your feet up reading from a good old fashioned book.

I really want to get into servicing the car myself and repairing body work damage (from the weekly shopping trips!!), all that sort of thing.

cheers..

cheers...

I must have an intermitent fault with m 'Y' key on my keboard.
I'll get it checked out..:-)

Blimey, you gotta admire this guys pluck.

Just the thought of bodywork damage, and especially those "oh well, its only a car" supermarket people just puts me in need of therapy.

Here's someone who's so accepting of it, they're looking to read about fixing it, in front of the fire!8-0))

I am really really disappointed with the quality of the current Haynes manuals. Quite frankly they really are not a patch on the workshop manual.

It doesn't cost a fortune, and is a superb resource that is usefully comprehensive. :o)

"back early from he pub ...." ???

Rob you have to agree that Haynes makes a bloody good alternative to an Agatha Christie specially the bit that normally goes like:- 'the reassembly is the reverse procedure' - how do you reassemble a cam shaft that you have just smashed with a hammer as a 'suitable' drift was not available.
